Handmade Christmas Bows

I didn't buy any bows this year and decided to make some with the wrapping paper I used for all my presents.  I think they turned out really cute.  If you want to learn how to make your own bows, go to this link.

Our Christmas tree with all the gifts ready to go.... :)

Yay, finally got all our Christmas shopping done.  We did not get a real tree this year.  This was actually our fake tree Mike and I got when we first moved in together.  We lived in a small apartment and didn't need anything big.  It comes in handy.  I would like to have a fresh tree, but this year with all that has gone on, it was just too much stress to go out and get one, so we made due with our little fake tree.  Mike decorates the tree every year.  It is our tradition.  When Magnus understand Christmas, I think it will be a lot of fun to have him pick out our tree.  Merry Christmas.

Glass Etching - Candy or Cookie Jar

I did some glass etching on a $5.00 candy/cookie jar I got at Target.  I am going to put some goodies inside for a Christmas present.  It was fun but made a couple mistakes and had to hide them with more etching (see the star by the angel? that is covering up where some of the cream over flowed and etched where it wasn't supposed to).  The pictures were tough to take (being glass) but I think the tree turned out really pretty and overall I am pretty happy with it.  I have another one to do tomorrow and have now learned I better not let the cream runneth over... lol

Christmas Ornaments

I made these Christmas Ornaments today.  You take Pledge Floor Shine and pour into a glass ornament, add glitter and shake.  Then I put vinyl letters on.  Tah dah! ;)

Christmas Charger Plate - My 1st one

I am trying to make some Christmas gifts this year and started with my first Charger plate.  Here it is.  You can't see, but I also decorated it with stickles to add some flare! :)

Grandma's Brag Book

I made this album for my Mother In Law.  I got the your story photo and was really excited to put something together.  I created the cover with spellbinders and the paper as well as the embellishments are from my Imagine (yummy cart).

Having fun with Vinyl

Magnus uses his bimbo chair quite a bit during the day.  I thought it would be fun to decorate it with some vinyl with my "new" Car Decals Cart from Cricut. :)

Kitchen Towel - Thank you gift

Baby Shower is this weekend. I am making embroidered kitchen towels as "Thank You" gifts. I hope they like them. I am making 10!

Vinyl Lettering with Cricut

I put "Sweet Dreams" in the baby's room in White Vinyl lettering with stars. :)

Duck Bib

Made an applique "ducky" on a bib for my boy.

Spit Crew Bib

Embroidered this on a plain yellow bib. Love the design, it is a lot of fun!

Burp Cloths

I made these burp cloths for my son who is due in December. Having fun with my embroidery machine lately!

Hubby is a huge "Tool" fan

So I made these two onesies for our son when he is born. One is Southpark's rendition of the Tool (the band) and the other is just a logo.

Embroidery Stuff - For my Baby Boy!

Playing around with my embroidery machine today. I got inspired by a friend of mine, Jen. She has a website and does embroidery and makes blankets, shirts, bibs, etc. So I had to give it a try and make some of my own.

My Baby Shower Invite

I am convinced that pictures don't do justice. I worked so hard on these invites. I made 43 of them. Whew! I think they turned out great. Now, I am trying to decide if I am going to make the announcements. Maybe I will go with less is more for those. :)

Horsey Birthday Card!

I made this card for my husband's cousin Michelle. I was super bumbed that when I went to write the message it didn't come out very well. What can you do? I still felt like something was missing from the front but wasn't sure what to put. TFL!

Graduation Card!

Graduation card for my cousin Sara. Not sure if I should have chalked the edges to make it stand out. Hmm... the picture doesn't do it justice. :)

MIL Birthday Card

I made this flower pot card for my MIL and an envelope from Wild Card.
