Handmade Christmas Bows

I didn't buy any bows this year and decided to make some with the wrapping paper I used for all my presents.  I think they turned out really cute.  If you want to learn how to make your own bows, go to this link.

Our Christmas tree with all the gifts ready to go.... :)

Yay, finally got all our Christmas shopping done.  We did not get a real tree this year.  This was actually our fake tree Mike and I got when we first moved in together.  We lived in a small apartment and didn't need anything big.  It comes in handy.  I would like to have a fresh tree, but this year with all that has gone on, it was just too much stress to go out and get one, so we made due with our little fake tree.  Mike decorates the tree every year.  It is our tradition.  When Magnus understand Christmas, I think it will be a lot of fun to have him pick out our tree.  Merry Christmas.

Glass Etching - Candy or Cookie Jar

I did some glass etching on a $5.00 candy/cookie jar I got at Target.  I am going to put some goodies inside for a Christmas present.  It was fun but made a couple mistakes and had to hide them with more etching (see the star by the angel? that is covering up where some of the cream over flowed and etched where it wasn't supposed to).  The pictures were tough to take (being glass) but I think the tree turned out really pretty and overall I am pretty happy with it.  I have another one to do tomorrow and have now learned I better not let the cream runneth over... lol

Christmas Ornaments

I made these Christmas Ornaments today.  You take Pledge Floor Shine and pour into a glass ornament, add glitter and shake.  Then I put vinyl letters on.  Tah dah! ;)
